Question: I have installed the software but when I go into ConfigPPP the "Open" button is grayed out, what didn't I do?

Answer: This actually has nothing to do with ConfigPPP, the problem is in MacTCP. To fix the problem close ConfigPPP and go into MacTCP and click on PPP (it is probably already black, but click on it again anyway) then close out of MacTCP. The "Open" button in ConfigPPP should no longer be grayed out.

Question: I have installed the software and entered the phone number and everything looks correct but when I run Netscape (or some other Internet software I get a message that says the Netscape was unable to create a network socket connection, what's wrong.

Answer: This is most likely the same problem as above. Check to see if the "Open" button in ConfigPPP is grayed out. If it is then follow the steps in the previous question. if it is not make sure that "Disable Auto Connect" in ConfigPPP is NOT checked. If it is then uncheck it.
